Hello All,
I would like to apologize that I have not contributed as I read the forums every day.
I would like to formarly introduce myself....HI Everyone!!!!!!!!
I live in the burbs of Pittsburgh, PA. I am only able to shoot a rim fire (Game commission regs). I can only shoot .22 or below. I have a slug gun but do not want that big of hole in the pelt. What type of ammo should I use for my .17 rim fire Savage?
We are starting to have a big Yote problem here and would like to help in the elimation.
Thanks!

I like the Hornady Varmint Express with V-MAX bullet for hunting Fox. it`s alittle expensive but there great. Hear in Newyork we have the same deal with rimefire untill the end of deer season. Also CCI TNT hollow point work fine.I have shot a coyote last fall at 65 yards neck shot, down for the count.

Welcome aboard!!!!!! I wish I could help you on the rimfire deal, but I shoot a .204 Ruger or my Bow for Coyotes! Maybe you could use a bow in your area???
