NEED HELP....TAKE SOME KIDS HUNTING
#1
CALLING ALL HUNTERS: WE NEED TO TAKE KIDS, AND OTHER PEOPLE OUT AND INTRODUCE THEM TO HUNTING. READ THIS NEWS ARTICLE AND YOU WILL SEE WHY.

if we don't do more to get more people involved, the take your guns away crowd, and don't kill bambi crowd will begin to get an edge on us outdoor loving people.
My family doesn't hunt, and if it hadn'tbeen for the neighbors introducing me to duck hunting and pheasant, I might not have gotten into it. Take your kids friends out every now and then.
P.S.
I am posting this in small game since this is probably a better place to start introducing kids and others to the sport.

Great article, I commend you for finding and posting it here.
I don't quite know what to say about taking a kid hunting, mainly because I AM a kid-only 14, but I don'tthink thatany of my friends would be willing to hunt. However I can try and get them to.
Florida has a great program for young hunters:

I don't know if any other state has anything like this, but then again, I've never looked. Maybe the FWC is trying to compensate for only having one species of deer; course the hog population is amazing.

Here here, I'll 2nd that. I spend more time each year w/ son & younger brothers than I do hunting myself. They are our future if we are to have one in this sport!
