.177 for Foxes???
I have a fox problem and I was going to use my bow but for a 50 yard shot would
a Gamo Shadow 100 work ok?
I want them to drop fast so would a .177 pellet gun drop a gray fox at 40 yards?
Head shot or chest shot?

I am with Browning it will probably not, where you live are you able to use a 22mag of some sorts???? but wait a minute if you check back later there will be a fella on here that will tell you he has done it and tell you how. He will have to google search it first, I think his screen name has a 09 at the end of it.

I doubt .177 will suffice for what you want,50 yards??Why bother with such a close bunny shot anyway? What you really need to makethis sporting isaSavage tactical .223 preferably your uncles,At a range of at least 500yds, Because anything less then 400 is way to easy, Of course you will need WOLF FMJ ammo for this shot

I doubt the .177 will perform up to standards although I do think it COULD kill it. I don't recommend trying it.
I have that same pellet gun. I have a hard time killing blackbirds let alone anything that big.
Use that gun for the smaller stuff. I wouldn't go any bigger than rabbits with it.
