Default Taster better than squirrel. I promise!!

My friend and I caught a couple muskrat one morning and while skinning them asked my friend," I wonder how it taste" he just laughed. Then we both looked at each other and shrugged out shoulders and cleaned it like you would a squirrel," much easier though"brought it in and put it in a crock pot with potatoes and what not. Couple hours later it was avery nice surprise to take that first slow bite, and it was very good and tender. Probably will try it again next year. Might try a beaver, if I get hungry enough!-LOL Whats the weirdest thing you guys have ever brought back from the woods and cooked?

I won't eat anything other than regular game animals.

Weasel- Either you're pullin" our leg or... you're the gutsiest guy I've ever met! I could see if you were stranded for days and starving, however, just for S&G's( Sh-ts and Giggles)????? Holy cow dude, you get the award from the boys on that one!

I've eaten beaver and it's not bad. BBQ some and fried some like chicken fried steak.

All they eat are roots, grasses, and somtimes they will eat mussels so they are probably good for you. Squirrels are also a rodent like a muskrat.

I'm a big fan of beaver myself, wife won't let me bring BBQ sauce into the bedroom though
