I got a hand held spot lite for christmas and i want to get a red lense for it. Does anybody know of a company that makes them, i would say the the diameter is like 7 inches or so.

i'd go to any place that sells music equipment or stage lighting type stuff and get them to cut you a piece

One light I've got just has a red piece of that overhead projector transparant paper cut to fit, with a little scotch tape to hold it on.

more or less that's what i was describing, except the kind made for cannister lights can take very high temperatures without melting.

Go to the auto part store and they have red tape made to repair tailights.

Ive heard of just taking some red plastic wrap. Havnt tried it yet so im not sure if it'd work or not

You can take red plastic wrap.. if you want it melted to your light..
