Default coyote and fox hunting

Hey guys, Im new to coyote and fox hunting. Im used to driving around concession roads and trying to spot a coyote running. At my cousins farm, we are seeing a ton of mostly coyote tracks. They're too big to be a fox. I tried leg traps, all I caught was skunks. Can somebody tell me how I can get this coyote? I see tracks of it every morning. I have an electronic predator call will all kinds of coyote howls and stuff, so i dont no if that can help? should I sit out there in the morning or night? tell me how i should set up. get back to me. thx

go out there really early or quite late, sit on the edge of a field back in the cover a little and start calling. the caller should've had instructions on how to use it but you can also search google. watch for the yote to try to circle downwind of you and stay ready, they can move fast. if legal, throw some meat out there or roadkill or something. you can also go after dark and spotlight them.

I could probly use the left overs of a rabbit i shot today. are they a weary animal, like do i need scent block. and can i kill them with a 12 gauge?

yeah, you can, it's just much easier with a rifle. they are pretty wary. i mean, they're dogs so they have great senses of smell and hearing.

My best advice would be to try calling right at first light. Good luck
