Look for them in fields, especially along the edges.
Best times are late morning and late afternoon.
If it rains most of the day and then all of a sudden it clears up and the sun comes out, this really brings out the hogs.
You'll see them all day long on cooler cloudy days as apposed to blistering hot sunny days.
Hope this helps.

Yep he is right on. They do get hungry throughout the day but we love going out around 630-7 pm and looking for ones eating dinner. If you have a place you can lay and glass the edges of the fields, try that out. I love setting upmy bipod where I know active holes are and waiting. They love wet grass so morning dew is perfect or right after the rain like windwalker said. what kind of gun will you be shooting? I use either my .22 lr, .17hmr or .22-250. if you aren't seeing any, walk along the edges of the fields and look for dug out holes. next time you hunt there, you will know where to look. good luck!! kill them all!
