With the 17 no damage at all with the 223 just a pin hole the 22-250 depens on where I hit them but there i a hole ok 2 of them but its like bigmatty65 said in the city or shots under 75yd that 17 HMR is the ticket for them...

well to ignore the jerks above i have a .17hmr ruger single six pistol and it only gets used for rabbits and squirrels, seen a few times where the .17 jsut isnt enouph and the yote was never recovered. Go with a bigger bullet and do yourself and the animal a favor.
