i read in article about a man who shot 6 squirrels in a day with a 22 handgun. I dont have a 22 handgun so i used my bb handgun. it shoots at 550 fps and uses a magnum pellet. I got one that day and i was wondering if anyone has tried this? I am looking into a 22 pistol. Browning has a few nice ones, any suggestions?

I hunt squirrels with a hand gun.
I use a 22 long rifle Ruger Govt Target Model Mark2 semiauto.
I have had since the early 80s.
And a 22 long rifle Taurus Tracker revolver.
I have had for about 3 years.

I used to work with a man that squirrel hunted with a
357 Magnum Colt Python.

Theres just something about getting squirrels with a hand gun.
Its more of a chalange.

Ruger has a nice one.

22 Govt target model mark 3
Its almost the same as the Mark2 except the magazine release
Is on the side of the mark 3 grip instead of the bottom like the mark 2.
Which I like better.

I like the Taurus revolver.
You can shoot CCI CB shorts in it.
I really got the Taurus about 3 years ago.
For fishing to shoot snake shot.
It doesn't cycle in the semiauto to good.

There both good to hunt with.

Browning buck mark is nice looking also.
I haven't shot it but it looks good to.

I varmint hunt with both a rifle and handgun. My hangun is a Walther P22 w/ 5 inch barrell and I use just simple .22 lr rems hp with it. Its definately a challenge, but its gnarly when you get those shots off.

my dad uses a ruger mark2, he got it when he was 19 from the dealer!

This is what I use for squirrels, Beretta Neos u22 7.5" Barrel w/Bushnell Trophy Red Dot 4-Reticle! This is very accurate gun and not too expensive! Good luck!

I hunt squirrels with my 10/22...why? Cause I honestly can't hit 'em with my ruger single six. THIS beauty by Browning, weighting in at just less than 4.5lbs, would be a dream for squirrel hunting. I might be crazy though.

i use a ruger super-six .22 with a simmons 2-7 pro-hunter scope and a set of shooting sticks.man what a sweet shooting gun this is. the .22 mag never shot real good but the .22 long rifle cylinder is a ton of fun to shoot.

long range-10/22 ruger .204 or .22
short range-ruger mk. 2

i would have to go with the walther p22like coyote stalker. i love mine and and can get alot of addons for it. which is the second reason i got mine
