NICE YOTE. LETS HEAR THE STORY BEHIND THE KILL WHEN U GET THE CHANCE. CALLS USED HOW IT CAME IN SO ON AND SO ON. MUST BE NICE TO BE HUNTING OVER SNOW. ITS JANUARY HERE IN ILLINOIS AND I WAS SLOPPIN THROUGH MUD TODAY WHEN OUT TO TRY AND BAG SOME YOTES. ONLY SAW TWO TODAY.(ONLY DID TWO STANDS)THEY CAME IN TOGETHER AND THEYHERD SOMETHING THEY DIDNT LIKE AND THAT SOUND WAS ME COUGHING. I HATE IT WHEN I HAVE A COLD AND TRY TO HUNT. AFTER THAT STAND I WENT HOME.

well we had a cold snap and that day was probably down near 5 degrees or so. well I took my atv to a filed that I have seen many coyotes going through to see if I could maybe get one. After setting up and waiting for maybe 2 minutes I stared calling with my little carltons calls open reed call. After 1 or 2 minutes this coyote just came tearing in I stopped him with a shot from my 22-250 at 90 yards he did a couple death spins and began to run away so i had to put another shot in his chest which took him down for good. The first shot was in the guts and the second in the lunges there was very little damage because niether exited.
