Check your dnr site for your state. Sometimes they have stuff like that on there. Hope that helps.

Yes it's possible , just see what they're eating at the moment and bait your live trap with that .

Live traping is not the best way to get a animal for taxidermy!

When you catch them they will chew on the cage. They will allso run around in the trap and scare there hides up. The live rats will allso draw perditers they will normaly try to kill the rat this to will give you pelt damage.

The best way to get a rat for the tax man in use a 110 conbear.Hole set the rat under watter.Out of sight and you will have no pelt damage.

The 110 conbear is a kill trap. normaly breaks there backor neck when the trap gos off.

If you cought the rat by the leg you may drownd him.But if you do this you did not set the trap right.

I am only interested in live trapping at the time as this is mainly a project for me and my 6 year old to do together and I do not trust him yet around the other type traps. And the live trap will also let me turn things loose I do not have time to skin. I have been very buisy taking in deer and trying to deer hunt myself the last few weeks.
