with all iv'e read the .243wssm is the best all around.my heart it set on the .240 wby.i don't think you can can go wrong with any of the cals.

i think most people are not prepared for that kind of shot.i my case ive spent time on my blind building bench rests for all my windows.i have a spotting scope to judge anything before i pull the gun...

this is a working ranch,they feed hay to the cows and salt licks are everywhere.the only thing i have noticed is, when the cows get in my food plot they will not eat where they crap.the stuff i plant...

only if i'm bored,ive seen deer(does) run coyotes off a wheat field:same with turkeys, their not scared at all.

ive tried barbwire,hog panels,and no fence at all.they jump or push through everything.i thought about trying an electric fence,but i dont know how deer will respond ? my kids hunted a texas wildlife...
