Well after all the dust settled on opening week, I have to say I did enjoy this season. I saw a lot of does far off and had a very nice buck get close enough to scope out. I could see him walking...

I am also in trumbull Co and as of yet no hogs have been spotted anywhere near here. Turkeys are getting spread out though.I think you would have to go to southern Ohio for a chance at any porkers

I myself use a S&W mod 29 in 44 mag w/ 6.5 inch barrel. Havent seen anything I couldn't bring down yet. I recently added a red dot scope and it helps with my old age thing..LOL :D I hope you do well...

there are lots of open public lands in southern Ohio. If you check the ODNR site you can check by county and see what the harvest is for ach county. I suggest holmes county and a few other places are...
