It seems to me that a lot of guys have had plenty of opportunities on taking elk. It seems like some shoot elk anually. Can you get tags every year or every other year. We don't have elk in my area....

I know the 270 win is a great for deer and probably would be great on caribou. But what about moose. If you loaded up with some penetrating bulets would it be more than enough. Whats the defferences...

A full body mount would be worth it if it was a northern deer. A texas world record would probaby be the size of a small eight up here. I wouldn't waste that money.

Is there any body who's killed or has hunted Black bears is Michigan? Did you see many? Would it be better to go to Wisconsin or Minnesota? I'm looking for a hunt where I'll see animals.

Encore Rifles

Does anybody use the Encore Rifles? How do they shoot and clean. Is it easy to switch out barrels without messing with accuracy? I like how they feel.
