Look at eberlestock.com....they have one of the best hunting packs on the market and are up there with the badlands packs.

Badlands vs Eberlestock Gunslinger backpack?

Anyone have any opinions or pros vs cons to share on these two backpack manufacturers...particularly for those packs in the 2-3k cubic inch range?

How do you know when the tail is done curing?

I have been 'curing' my turkey tail since mid May...using salt. When do you know that it is done? Last time I looked at it there was green mold on the meat and I applied more salt.

I went with a Remington bolt 30-06. Easy to find ammunition and versatility to go after bigger game....if I should ever be so lucky.

Couple of dumb questions:

a) There are two sheets of targets inserted under the plastic surrounding the target. How do you guys fix it to the target? Thumbtacks? Seems like it would constantly...
