I'm looking for a good packback where I can fit my sleeping bag some clothes,calls, and other small hunting accesories.. I want it to be comfortable and not too heavy. I'm going hunting in Maine next year and i'm trying to get prepared. Please help...I want to go hunting deep in the woods so I have to be prepared to stay a night. Thanks

I'm not really sure how much you plan on carrying, but I'm pretty fond of my Badlands pack (SuperDay pack). For what you're describing, I'd think either the 2800 Carry-all or the 4500 Field Pack would fit your needs. They are pricy, but the warranty is outstanding and the product is great.

I'll second the Badlands 4500. It's a great pack, and I don't think you can top it for comfort. It'll easily hold more weight than you can physically carry.

you might check into a tactical three day pack by Blackhawk, tactical tailor, eagle, etc. very good quality, available in camo and earth tone colors. maxpedition also makes good packs.

I would second the Eberlestock option. I bought one last year and used it to pack out a couple of caribou one week and then pack a tent, sleeping bag, gear and food to go deer hunting another week. Being frameless, it's very light, but gives a lot of support. Has a great sling for your rifle, so that you can free up both hands on your way out without any concern that the rifle is going to fall off.
