Mini 30 scope mount

Looking to throw a scope onto the Mini 30 to see how accurate it really is. I don' t expect it to be a tack driver at long distances, so i' ll probably just use it for coyotes and such. For the scope...

RE: Poaching is WRONG!!

Exactly. Although there aren' t many who need to hunt to survive, there still are those few. To pretend those needy people don' t exist is just rediculous. You hit it right on the button, Grizzly.

RE: Poaching is WRONG!!

Well said. Very well said. I don' t think anyone can refute that one unless they live in a fish bowl and assume everyone is as well off as they are.

RE: Poaching is WRONG!!

Ok, I guess I' m in the minority here concerning the justification of poaching in regards to the specific circumstances surrounding the act. I would testify against a ruthless poacher, but would...

RE: Poaching is WRONG!!

Good post. I agree with you. Accidents happen, and game which isn' t in season do in fact get hit. Or game that has been wounded by pure accident need to be put down. I personally do not see any...

RE: Poaching is WRONG!!

Hmmm....looks like this thread could get juicy too. To cut down on the chances of any arguments starting, why don' t you guys break the " poaching" issue into two categories. I mean heck, you' ll...

RE: BSA scopes

You make a good point about " old" scopes sitting on shelves. Either way, I doubt if Bushnell will terminate the Tasco line. Whether I buy Tasco or Bushnell, they still get all the profits. Besides,...

RE: BSA scopes

I thought Bushnell bought out Tasco. Are their scopes any better now that Bushnell owns them, or still stay away??

RE: Need help with High point pistols...

I bought a Hi-Point .380 at the gun show a few months back. I only bought it because it was cheap, and it was for my girlfriend. She never shot a gun before this, so I figured it was cheap enough for...

RE: Baiting squirrels

There' s an idea. Never even thought about using a feeder. Since I use the WMA, think it might be best to use a homemade type? I might be able to make an el-cheapo out of a milk carton or...

RE: Bulls Bag or shooting sticks

Thanks for the replies guys :) I guess I' ll try using more bags and see how that goes for me. If for some reason I still can' t get it to a decent steady, then I' ll fork out the bucks for the...

RE: Baiting squirrels

Went out again this evening. Was gonna try baiting them, but said screw it. Just sat there and waited. Was there for about 2 hours, and saw 2 of them suckers up in the trees. The hunt buddy was in...

Baiting squirrels

Just tried my hand at squirrel hunting today. Boy, what a challenge! Was wondering if any of you ever bait them? If so, what kinds of bait do you use? Heard peanut butter was a decent/cheap bait, but...

RE: Bulls Bag or shooting sticks

I tried using some home-made sandbags when I went shooting yesterday. I only had them at the front of the rifle and it was hard to keep it steady. I barely had enough for the front, so I couldn' t...

Bulls Bag or shooting sticks

Hello everyone. New to the board, and new to hunting. I just decided to start hunting, but I' ve been a gun owner for years. Mostly just a recreational plinker...nothing requiring too much accuracy....
