RE: Gun Or Bow

If you want to save money on the gun though....get a Savage 12. Extremely accurate.

RE: Gun Or Bow

depends on which one you need more. Do you already have a varmint rifle? Do you already have a bow? Get the one that you don't have. Heck, get the bow if it's on sale. The rifle will cost you another...

Testing new loads

What are some of your reloading procedures for testing new loads? I've been reloading for 22-250 and .257 AI for a few months now and I'm wondering if there's a better way...in other words, I take a...

RE: Hornady A-max or V-max?

Wow, thanks for all the help and info! I'm going to give the 50 gr. noslers a try as well as the A-maxes. I've already found sierra's 52 gr. match bullets to have one-hole accuracy at 100 yds. I'm...

RE: groundhogs

I used my .22 LR for years before upgrading to a 22-250. At 50 yards or less I could consistantly hit them in the head. 40 gr. CCI mini mags and 32 Gr. CCI Stingers work well. Shots in one ear and...

RE: Hornady A-max or V-max?

Then, if the choice was between the 52 gr. A-max bt-bt and the 50 or 55 gr. nosler bt-bt, what would you choose?

Hornady A-max or V-max?

from experience, which bullet have you found to be more accurate? I'm loading for my 22-250 and I'm trying to decide between pursuing a load for the 52 gr. a-max or the 50-55 gr. V-max. I hear so...

bullet expansion on varmints

what bullet has the most deadly expansion on varmints at all ranges? All the ballistic tip bullets with the polymer tips boast quick expansion with great accuracy. The 52 gr. match hollow points...

RE: whats this new .17 HMR like

The .17 hmr is a sweet caliber that makes any .22 rimfire look pathetic. You should be able to hit hares out to 200 yards with it and it is a very light gun. You won't regret buying one, but keep...

RE: .223 vs 22-250

I've got the savage 12bvss also, but mine's a 22-250. It's a really sweet gun, you will not be disappointed. I like the 22-250 because I have it handloaded by a friend for really cheap. He reloads...
