Default Gun Or Bow

Heres the situation...
Ive got $656 to buy a new gun or bow with.
Ive already got the gun (.22-250) in the lay away and I really want it, BUT, I found a hoyt Xtec, the bow I have always wanted, on sale for $475. I owe $430 on the .22-250.

If I buy the bow I will have $137 left in the bank which most of that will go to buyin a quiver, maybesights($50), and other accessories. I have arrows and broadheads and some sites off a my old PSE that might fit.

If I buy the .22-250 I will have $226 left in the bank, some ofthat will go to buyin reloading dies($30), bullets($15), case trimmers($8), powder($21) and other reloading stuff.

I might be able to get away with fitting the quiver from the PSE to the hoyt if I get it.
Anyway, what money I'll have left in the bank isnt whats aggravating me, its deciding which to get.

depends on which one you need more. Do you already have a varmint rifle? Do you already have a bow? Get the one that you don't have. Heck, get the bow if it's on sale. The rifle will cost you another $400-$600 extra for a decent scope, rings, bases, bipod, and sling if you already don't have them. Eventually you'll need both. It's a matter of which one to get first!

If you want to save money on the gun though....get a Savage 12. Extremely accurate.

Although I love my gun's ,I find that my bow is the most important piece of my hunting gear .My gun's don't get a lot of work these day's because I prefer to use my bow all the time now and just can't put it down.
