and am convinced that it is simply better than lead all the way around

I would agree with you 100 percent on the Mag Blends....I would not even be remotely cautious about trying a turkey out to 60 yards
with them either

ENERGY (hit harder) at longer ranges. It equates to cleaner
kills and more effective shots.

IMO, you need to look at other variables. Speed is important but also the energy your shot can impart at various distances is TERRIBLY important. I have completely gone away from STEEL and settled...
