Kickin Buck....I dont know where you hunt in Illinois but it doesnt really seem that your farm you hunt is much....I am from Pike County, Illinois and I see more BIG deer than i do spikes...

My answer to that is that i believe the more deer there is in an area means there is a greater chance of some of the deer to be big biucks and thats what keeps me going back to the stand....

Its hard to tell by the photo but im guessing that is a younger buck..in illinois its very uncommon to go on a hunt and not see abuck like that...depending on where you hunt, i believe i would pass...

In my area we have not got an abundance of rain but the crops are looking good and i believe we will have a good acorn crop so hopefully the deer will be hitting the food sources during the season.

Bucks wont walk through corn fields if they dont have to so i have been setting my cameras along the edges of corn fields. I am having good luck doing this so far.
