just got back from a capt elliots private charter did some bottom fishin and sport fishin this last sunday we caugt limits of snaper wich isnt hard now but some sharks whaoo and dorado had a great time few kings and lings alo and other fish

I had to look up piggies. Down here we call it pigfish. Pogies are menhaden. greenies are atlantic threadfin herring. All are excellent bait for kingfish AKA King Mackeral. I guess it is just local slang for bait.
