Hello. Recently I got a RCBS Piggyback III and am having problems setting it up. Won't be able to contact RCBS Customer Service until Monday and really would like to get some reloading done before then.
I'm using the #35 shell plate per RCBS Customer Service discussion when I bought the rig.
1. I can't get the APS primer strip to advance every time. It's currently "stuck" about halfway through the rail where it sits. I only loaded one primer in the lead positon initially to check seating depth. Don't know if it had to be completely loaded or not. The directions didn't say one way or another.
2. Up until a moment ago was also having trouble getting that one primer to seat deep enough. I tried screwing in the primer plug deeper and finally got the correct seating depth in the pocket. Again don't know if that really was the solution or not. Also tried to screw down the shell plate/starwheel assembly. It had some vertical play before but doesn't now.
That's as far as I've gotten. Need to get the plastic strip out before I can do much anything else.
Thanks in advance.
