I have loaded 20 ga. slugs cast with the Lyman Foster-type 20 ga. slug mould. I loaded them with a Lee Loader, one at a time, and applied a roll crimp using a Lyman roll crimping head in a drill press. I used was Unigue powder, and the charge weight was based on a shotgun reloading data table for a shot charge of the same weight as the slug. A regular felt/card wad column was used, no plastic wads, etc. The load shot about as well as a U.S. standard factory Foster slug load in my gun, but not nearly as well as my gun shoots Brennekes!
