IMR7828 have to look that one up also, seems like there are a number of good powders for this beast. They also appear to be underloaded by the Factories. Thanks SJ

i use hornady 162g btsp with 86 grains hodgdon870 powder. ballistic coefficient is approx.514. sighted in at 200yds i have 24"-30" drop at 500yds. Hogdon doesnt have 870 any more but if you look around you can find h872 that is very similar in all aspects
