Rockchucker vs Rockchucker Supreme

Old elk, I have a regular one. I really want a sepreme. Basically, I load more for a 300rum. And with redding comp seating dies, kinda a pain getting the bullet/brass combo in the shell holder. This is only a big deal with the redding comp seaters. RCBS no problem. I have played some with the sepremes. It would help in situation I am in.

I have the RC Supreme (Model IV) and I like it just fine. It's my first metallic handloading press, so I haven't used the others for a direct comparison. The longest cartridge that I load for currently is 22-250 (along with .45ACP and .454Casull), so that's not exactly a supermag length case, but I do have large hands/fingers and I definitely appreciate the large opening between the ram and die. The long length also makes it easy to short stroke the ram when sizing/seating short cases while still having plenty of leverage to get the job done easily. Like all other Rockchucker presses ever made, the Model IV is build like the proverbial brick s***house. If I were a lefty, or if I chose to use my left hand to operate the press, the ambidexterous handle would also be a real plus. The new primer catcher is very nice as the spent primers don't hit the floor or scatter all over the bench like some other presses I looked at. It's easily removable when not depriming.
All in all, I have absolutely no regrets whatsoever about buying my RC Model IV, and would gladly recommend it to anyone.
