Just about any 180 gr bullet for hunting should work . I use Barnes x bullets or Hornady myself .

By head, I assume you are talking about a bullet or projectile. If so, use the Nosler Partition Jacket in either 200 grain, or better yet, 220 grain loaded to max attainable velocity for bear using a 30/06.
