lazzerhead/coated triple shock bullets
Does anyone have any experience loading the lazzerhead bullets? They are an undersized barnes triple shock that then has a metalic (slick) coating electroplated to the bullet to bring it back up to standard diameter. I'm wondering if with the tripleshock design and the coating if they can be reloaded to velocities comparable to or greater than standard lead core bullets. Some early articles suggested the coating was slick enough that there was a velocity boost. Lazzeroni literature says nothing of this now. Barnes literature does suggest the triple shock bullets can be driven faster than standard x bullets because of the reduced bearing surface. Does anyone have any experience with these bullets? Please advise.
