What is a good bullet choice for coyote in the .30-06? Tried the Hornady 110 gr but they are too short. My seating die won' t seat anything under 3.190 O.A.L., so it would have to at least that long.

something is wrong here friend. The Hornady 110 is a fine varmint bullet in the -06. There' s something wrong with your dies if you can' t seat that bullet.

Nothing wrong with the die. This is a Redding competition die that will not seat short bullets without changing out the std seating plug for a longer one, that is not an option for I will want to load the long bullets with it.

I' ve had good luck with the Hornady 130grn Spire Point in front of 52grns of 4064. This is actually the bullet i deer hunt with and i have no complaints what so ever and the accuracy is well under an inch. I assume it would be ok for varmits also.

losthwy,
You might want too reconsider using your your standard loads. This would give you a greater familiarty with that rifle. Good luck.[&:]
