Hornady Interlock
I' ve always had good performance on deer from Hornady spire points. They are accurate and expand well with minimal weight loss. I' ve been shooting first 180 gr., then 150 gr. in my ' 06 for years. I just bought a new box and I see that they now are " Interlocks" . Can I expect the same level of performance from these?

RE: Hornady Interlock
I' ve always had good results with Hornady bullets. The only spire points that i' ve used that are not interlocks are the 130grn. I could be wrong but i think the bullets you' ve been shooting are interlocks. I' ve shot the sst 150grn and the 150grn btsp and they are both interlock design. The interlock bullets are a good design and i' ve always had great results in both accuracy and in the performance on game with these bullets.

RE: Hornady Interlock
Have to agree on the hornady interlock bullets they do the job I use the 165 sp interlock in my A3 03 springfield and never lost a whitetail deer with this bullet.I don' t remember them saying interlock way back in the early 70' s on the box .I must have use this round now for about over 30 years in my springfield and the longest shot out to 325 yards and still perform well.
