Dose anyone reload for the 300wsm
I just bought a 300wsm and would like to reload some 165grn loads,any tips on what is the best powder and bullet.This will be my elk load.I would like to get close to 3150 or 3200 if possible.Any coments please.BBJ

i use 65 grains of H4350 to push a 165 grain sst hornadyat nearly 3100fps.try to find one of hodgdon' s new annual manual.I use their powders exclusivly because of their ability to resist temperature change.therefor a more consistant and accurate load.

You may want to look at www.shortmags.org ...and also consult the hogdon website they have load informationon that round. Never loaded for a 165 grain bullet just 180' s when I had my 2 wsms.
