LOL What kinda bullets do you generally use with the 300 Pa? I was thinking of trying the 150 BT's first. That would seem to be a nearly perfect bullet for that cartidge. Ordered some 150 gr Speer Mag tips as well. Wideners has some good prices.. I know that much!

.......It's good to have a laugh now and then, isn't it?? Don't seem to happen often enough anymore....This will be the first crack at loading for the Savage, DD. It's actually a good friend of mine who is wanting to get this thing going.
I do think you're on the right track with your bullet choices, tho. That's the weight I'd want to start with, anyhow. I'm not real sure when all this is going to take place around here, but I'll keep you in mind about it, do the same if you get the chance, OK? Don.
