What Eldeguello said. It isn't so much of saving money to me as making your own tailor-made ammo for your particular gun. Being able to craft up stuff that outshoots the factory ammo gives me a lot of satisfaction. It also means a lot when you put down your deer, elk, bear, or whatever with your own home-brewed combination that you personally developed yourself. It just doesn't get much better than that for me. A little feeling of independence and pride.
