RE: grains per inch or grains per draw weight pound???
Bob, gr per inch refers to arrow shaft weight. Gr per pound refers to total weight of the arrow with regard to draw weight. At 7 gr per pound, an arrow would weigh 490 gr for a 70# bow. 7x70=490. I'm not familiar with aluminum arrows, but carbons have a wide range of arrows in different weights and spine. Easton has an arrow selection chart that can help pick the correct arrows for your setup. I suspect with your bow you wouldn't want to go too light on the arrow. 5 gr per pound is the recommended minimum, but I think too light for your bow. I shoot carbons at just under 7 gr per pound.
