My question is what are you trying to do with it? If your after a target rifle,then you better buy one..No sence wasteing your money trying to do what you can't....And if someone gave me a gun I would take it..Even if it was a 22-250 that would shoot 1750 yards..[8D][8D][8D][8D][8D]

Well,have you give it any thought that the rifle just doesn't like that bullet..
I had a win.30-06 that would not shoot a boat tail worth a dam..But the flat
base bullet was a different story..I finally admited defeat and just got more
flat base's and left it at that..Rifle twist-MV-Barrel Crown-amount of free
bore if any,powder type-all can be a major factor here...

I tried the berger vlds in my 7mm ultra mag and accuracy was horrible. Could not find a oal that worked and accuracy wasover 3 inches at 100. Same gun shoots under an inch at 200 yards with partitions or accubonds. I use retumbo in ultra mag.
In my 7 mag I liked Re 22 with 154 ssts
