Shot two more whitetails with the TSX bullets last week. A 130lb doe and a nice 8 pointer. Both were dead as doornails. They were 150gr bullets shot from a 308 and a 300 Weatherby Magnum.

Check out the heart in the picture (top right corner). the bottom 1/3 was completely removed by a TSX from a 308 Win.

at 7mm/08 velocities the BT will work well, I shoot the 140 BT's to 3550 fps on deer with no troubles, I use accubonds in my LR 7mm AM, don't need them for long range but I'm not sure what would happen if I put a BT into a deers shoulder if I come accrossed a "booner" at 50 yrds don't think a BT would survive a 3600 fps impact on bone, I know this much though the accubonds will penetrate.

Ridge Runner, what is that cartridge (and load) that will produce 3550 FPS with a 140-grain 7mm bullet?

I’ve used Accubonds for my 7mm-08 for 2 years and last years I was not impressed with the 140 gr. bullet. Shot a small buck at approx. 130 yards quartering towards me. The bullet never exited and had no blood trail. I waited patiently for for this buck to drop. Being that we had no or very little snow it might have been a long day tracking him...
You can't really evaluate a bullet based on shooting a deer or twowith it. An accurate evaluation would require at least a dozen, if not more.....

When I was working a load up for my 7mm RUM with Barnes TSX bullets I believe it was AR25that produced 3600 FPS on my chronograph. I ended up using Retumbo which was in the 3400 range. The 3600 FPS load was a little too hot for my liking!
