Pressure question on max charge?

elmer- if velocity is your goal I would look at slower powders for the 160's and up. I couldn't get great speed or accuracy w/ R-22 but average around 3100fps with R-25 and 160 Accubonds in my 26" remy. They shoot sub moa too.

69.5 grs av speed 2988
70grs av speed 3050
all speeds were averages of 4-5 shots. As far as pressuse signs all I saw (with a magnifying glass) is some very slight cratering but primers were not flat at all bolt was fine and the cases were neck sized. My last group was under half inch. I will test this load some more but so far it looks real good.

I tried RL25 stared at 68grs and worked up to 70grs, 68.5grs av speed 2911 69grs av speed 2950
69.5 grs av speed 2988
70grs av speed 3050
all speeds were averages of 4-5 shots. As far as pressuse signs all I saw (with a magnifying glass) is some very slight cratering but primers were not flat at all bolt was fine and the cases were neck sized. My last group was under half inch. I will test this load some more but so far it looks real good.
