I load with IMR 4350 and H4831sc. The 4350 is the most accurate, but the 4831 is a little faster but not quite as accurate. Not a lot of difference.

I have had great sucsess with Imr 4831 with a 130 grain slug,
in a 22 inch pipe ,In one of them a switch to a mag primer tighten the group up from 3/4 of an inch to 3 touching
I started with this powder and had good results and have never changed
ive used this powder for both 130 and 140 grain pills.
130`s at 3150
140`s at 3000
editnote* i did back off 1 grain of powder for the mag primer as the same load did start to show signs of pressure

h414. nosler.com lists it as one of their best loads. I like it as well.

If your 270 Win. won't shoot one of these powders....you've got a bad rifle...period!

A. IMR-4350...excellent for 130 grain bullets
B. H-4831...classicpowder for the270 Win. powder
C. RL-22...often produces good results

Hey Dixie Rebel. My pet load is 53.2 grs. of IMR4350. Not super fast, but is a deer killing phenom. Liberalism is a cancer. The only way we can survive is to vote for conservative Christian candidates. Our right to own guns and enjoy shooting depends on who we elect now.

Yep, IMR-4350 is a great powder. I used 55.0 grains (Max load, so work up slowly) and 130 gr. bullets and got great accuracy out of my rifle.

Thank youfor sharing the same Christian and political views I hold dear. I hope and pray others will do the same and speak up for them as well! Don't be afraid toshare God's truths with others! Sadly, we all know Satan has many people doing his work in Washington, colleges, public school systemsand Hollywood.

Fight the good fight for your reward is in heaven.
