Hodgdon Universal Clays vs Alliant Pistol Powder
Anyone have any experience with these 2 powders in the same cases?
I see they are side by side in the burnrate charts........would a listed load for 1 powder be practically identical for the other powder??
I ask because the latest issue of American Rifleman shows Speer's data for 60gr Gold Dots in .32ACP calls for 3.6gr of Power Pistol, but I believe they list 3.0gr as a max load for HUC. Since they are side by side on the chart, I would expect the max load for HUC to be (at the most) .2gr less than Power Pistiol (3.4gr). Is this a dangerous assumption????
There is precious little data on .32ACP with 60gr JHPs in print, so any advice or experience is appreciated.

Trust God..........but keep your powder dry!
