The easier way to set OAL is to seat a bullet in a fired case without resizing it, now close the bolt. Closing the the boltshould forces the bullet into the fired unsizedcase to OAL.

I use IMR 4831 70GR with 180 Gr Nosler Failsafe bullets for everything in my Tikka T3 300 Win mag!!It has been the most consistantly accurate load I have found.Just place your shot differently for each game.
