I thought I had one more day as well. But I checked the night of the final day and spent a good deal of time (and money) on the phone. I applied for a bunch of special licences for my self, my wife and my two kids. We did not get any draws. The Antelope draws are yet to come and my daughter should get a buck tag. My son and I might get Non-trophy tags or I could get an archery tag.
I have been shooting my bow this summer and it will be my only chance for moose. I will again hunt both deer sp. and elk with my muzzleloader.
Have a good one Al and all.

I got my Draws in on time but I only got a couple deer in 406. I thought I would have a moose there as well (the reason for applying for the deer) but I guess I'll get it next year.
Does anyone find it strange that the number of hunters are down by almost 50% since 1980 but it still takes the same amount of time to get drawn for moose, elk, antelope and deer?

The number of bird hunters are down dramatically but the number of big game hunters is stable. Also more people are now entering the draws than ever before.I drew only antelope this year but did draw wainright moose last year and will be due for several tags next year.

NO, only applied for doe antelope in WMUs 151 and 152. I have applied for 3 straight years; still zilch! Since I'm 66 yo the next years are getting fewer and fewer.

genek-I finally drew trophy antelope in 150,151,152 this year after six unsuccessful applications.I drew wainright last year on the sixth attempt. There are some great hunts available but many take several years or more to draw.

Antelope results are in. The wife and kids and I put in for 22 diffrent draws and got 0.
I had Trophy Antelope in 150, 151, 152 last year and shot a buck with my muzzleloader. I saw a lot of pronghorn and one very nice buck that was spending part of the time in the Suffield military block and some of the time out of it. I would guess he was an honest 17 in. or better.
I sat in a box blind at a water hole to get my buck.
I expected to get Camp Wainright primative weapons season permit this year but didn't.
