Went on a great hunt at Nunami in 2000--man that was fun with a bow---now for the sad part---while sightseeing after my 2 tahs were filled we came across a huge pile of bones--all caribou carcasses, was told by our local inuit guide that these were heard kills to keep the heard in balance, Just killed and dumped, no processing, no meat, mostly does and fawns, gotta save the bulls for the white man with the big bucks ! Made me sick Now its come to this! WOW !

Not well. Went since it was the lastyear and all 4 of us got skunked. Animals were fairly close to Laforge onthe 27 NOV but since it was real warm they just went back north. We ranmachines 250km + north of the LA1 Dam and could not get near them. They are still far up – some are now near thebay at Chiss but none are coming down – this is of last week in case anyone hasnew info.
Would like to go back and fill my tag – not sureif I have time and would go to Raddison instead of K358 just due to time and aturn and burn. Saw some old friends fromMich there from 2012 – we were the only ones in the lodge. Odd time at Mirage but we got A+ service fromSlyvain would was a great guy.
Too bad we missed you Westford – but I thinkyou were right to hold off. Any ideas togo up before the end?
