The weather reports are calling for several days of snow starting Wednesday. That should put an interesting curve on the deer season that we haven't had for a few years.

It would be nice, but I doubt we'll see it at camp north of Napanee.

Deer are begining to rut here around Barrie. I've seen 3 bucks in 2 days driving along the highway and also saw 2 dead doe's..
The VR reported on the news last sunday night that 15 deer had been involved in collisions around the barrie area last weekend killing all 15 that were reported.
Can't wait till monday!!

Have had snow here for a week or two which has made travelling to stands nice and quiet but its getting cold. Minus 10 this morning, which is OK for rifle but challenging for a first time bowhunter like me. Fortunately no deer showed up as I probably couldnt unthaw my arm anyway!
