I have been hearing lots (once from a very reliable source) that A very big bull elk was taken with a bow in central Alberta (Hardisty area).
It apparently green scored 421+ Pope & Young points and will be panel scored on Nov. 3.
I will keep you informed.
Robin.

I had no luck for Moose but did see a HUGE!!! buck on Sunday after noon and guess what, he was only 12 feet away from me as I was on my Quad looking at his rub and scrape....<img src=icon_smile_angry.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_angry.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_angry.gif border=0 align=middle>

Duff heard about this from a guy I work with......it is his stepson or stepson in law?? one of the 2....yes it is a very big bull........now for the rest of the story!!!
They were a party of 4 (friends) All agreed if a bull was shot the shooter would tag it as his, and the meat shared equal......well now greed has taken over and 1 of the "friends" wants the rack sold (heard "rumors" of offers in the 80 k mark)even lawyers are involved!!!
this bull is to be #1 P&Y and #2 rifle(b&C) in Canada<img src=icon_smile_dead.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_dissapprove.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_dead.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_dissapprove.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_dead.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_dissapprove.gif border=0 align=middle>
