Default Scope for Varmint AR-15

What scope for under 200 is the best?
I have an ar-15 and i want to use it for coyotes..
I would like a 3-12x40/50mm with mildot reticle.

Some choices that approximate your needs are: the Vortex Diamondback 4-12 X 40 with the dead hold BDC reticle. It's about $210.00. Another is the Bushnell Legend 5-15 X 40 with milldot for about $190.00. Another would be the Swift Premier 4.5-14 X 44 with milldot for about $215.00. That's a start.

NC Star and Konus are ones I would avoid.

If you were given one, I'd sure try it out! Good luck.

IMO for shooting coyotes at 200 + yards, 12X is minimum.
