Problem with red dot.
#1
I just put a Millett Sp1 on my superblackhawk Hunter. The red dot is extremly far left, I have to rotate the revolver to even see the dot really screws up my shooting posture, anyone else had this problem, suggestions. Thanks

Is it like this after sighting in? If so you could try to modify your grip a bit. If you grip to hard with the right hand(if right handed) you tend to pull to the left. Try to grip with the support hand and only use the right hand as a means for balance and trigger squeeze. I know, easier said than done. I used to have a SBH they are a bit stout. Locking the elbows and relaxing the shoulders will help a bit on recoil. Sometimes tucking the pinkey finger under the grip on a SA helps it roll up under recoil instead of driving back.

Sir that isn't a problem. I have had an sp1 for 15 years or so. It's been on more rifles and pistols than I can recall. Just adjust it to the right and get it centered as best you can then sight in. Once you get it dialed in, it will give you many years of service.

I have a Ruger Redhawk 44 magnumwith factory scope mounts on the barrel which are 2.5 inches apart from center, with the rings in place I have only 1.75 inches of scope play. My question is,Is there a Red and Green dot scope out there that will fit within the 1.75 inches of the two scope rings? The scope tube can be 1" or 30mm. Thank You
