Default Bushnell Legend

I have several Bushnell scopes on my rifles with no regrets. I have come to really like the Legend 2x7x32 and 3x9x40. The glass seems really clear and bright. I know there are better scopes but for theprice of $120-130/eaIMO these are a bargain. In NH my shooting ranges are limited to 125 yards max so I do not believe I needreally expensive optics. If I was shooting out West at extended ranges then I might have a different take. Another satisfied Bushnell customer here.

For 133.00 you can get a Nikon Prostaff 3-9 x 40. www.theopticzone.com

There is not really anything wrong with Bushnells (the higher end ones) for most uses. I used to have a dusk and dawn on a muzzleloader. Never gave me a minutes problem, but I did not expect 500.00 glass in a 100.00 scope. Thata why there are so many manufacturers and so many quality / price ranges. Something for everyone.

But I'm glad you are happy.

In my opinion, the Legend will do fine for most hunters. Sometimes scopes in this price range will last for years under rather rough use. I have had two in that price range (Weaver and Simmons) that have done well (so far) and some (4) (Simmons x 2, Tasco, BSA) that died a sudden, "come a part" early death or were just so pitiful in low light to make them useless in deep woods at twilight time. Hope your Legend lives on to be one of the former!l

Yes, you could get the pro-staff for $133.00 I suppose, but why spend more money for a lesser scope?

I have compared the Prostaff quality to the Legend quality. TheLegend glass appeared brighter than the Prostaff so I went with the Legend.

I agree that Legend has better overall quality than Prostaff.

I have nothing but bushnell scopes, no legend models, but my buddy has one and for the money its alright. I personally wouldn't buy one, only because for a few dollars more I can get an elite. just my 2 cents.
