Before I buy, ring height ?

If mounting a 40mm scope on a Rem. 700 SPS useing Leupold STD base and rings I use medium height rings correct, or can I use low, thanks.

Should be medium rings.

I mounted my Zeiss Conquest 40mm using low rings on my 700 CDL.

It will be a better fit with medium rings because of the size of the ocular ..it could fit with lows but the bolt interference would be intolerable
