Well I never have been a big fan of binos. Where I hunt if you can see them most of the time you can tell what they are. I got a pair of Luepold compact glasses for a X mas gift and wow! How have I lived with out these things?

I NEVER hunt without them! Now purchase the Crooked Horn bino harness and you're set. I use them in the early season to scout for big bucks that I want to go after as the season progresses. In my area I can see over 3/4 mile away across a huge bedding area. If I see a big buck doing something in a pattern then I'll set up for a surprise shot if the wind is right.

I noticed yesterday that SCI has a big sale on Leupold Golden Rings. I think the 10x42 were $700 which is cheaper than I got mine for wholesale! I've put these things up side by side with Swaro EL's and Leicas and the Leupold beat the Swaro's hands down in late evening light gathering looking into distant cliffs, I couldn't discern any noticable difference against the Leicas (unless you figure the major difference in price!) I'll never regret a nickel of what I spent on those Golden Rings!

Wilson I rule the roost. These things are incredable at scooping up the light.

in other words... he waits till the better half goes to sleep at nightand then snoops in his presents. That would explain why he knows they are good at scooping up light. Fess up !!

Hey when you come over next summer, bring them. They will help you find and " see "our sneaky ditch parrots (pheasants ).

Have a good one over the holidays !!!
