I just bought a 24" rifled cantilever barrel for my 12 ga. Benelli Nova.
Now I need a scope to go on it.
I've never shot a shotgun with a scope on it, so I need to know recommended eye relief.?
I would like for this shotgun to shoot out to 100yds, recommended power.?
I turn to the experience of the board to let me know what is the best scope for my money.
Thank You.

Okay, I'm looking at the Bushnell Sportsman Shotgun Scope 1.5-4.5X32mm Circle-X recticle, eye relief 4.3" , model number 72-1548R.
Will this scope work with the cantilever barrel or do I need a longer eye relief?
Any comments about the quality of this scope?
Thank You.

I have a bushnell banner 3x9x40 on my mossberg with a cant. mount. It has a 6" eye relief but I did not know that until I took it out of the box last year. I believe they still make them with the 6" relief if that makes you comfortable.

I use a scope that has 4” eye relief so the 4.3” should be enough. If you’re concern about 4.3” not being enough you could always get the Bushnell scope with 6” eye relief as Scrapdawg suggested. Bushnell has two models, 1.75 - 4 & 3 - 9 power with 6” of eye relief. Good luck...
